My dauther is not a fan of Halloween, the scary part of it. Many parks have vampires and ghouls as decorations and dressed up in the park. What is disney like how is the party?

    Hello, Jenifer!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that is fun for all ages! Since the theme is "not-so-scary", the focus is light hearted and entertaining with simple decorations such as fall flowers and pumpkins.

During the party, you will have the opportunity to meet rare characters, trick-or-treat at select attractions and an amazing fireworks display called HallowWishes. Often you will see The Old Witch from Snow White meeting with Guests or find Cast Members from Haunted Mansion with cobwebs and ghostly makeup, but you can easily avoid these areas if you chose. One of my favorite sights to see is just before Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade when the Headless Horseman gallops down the streets of the Magic Kingdom. Your daughter may find this a little intimidating, but the horse travels pretty quickly and then the parade begins with fun music and characters.

The costumes guidelines for Guests are family-friendly and must not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent. Adult Guests are not permitted to wear masks of any kind so that the theme continues to be fun for all ages.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have additional questions as you continue your planning.

    Wishing you a boo-tastic visit!
