    Hi, my daughther is 7yrs old and my son 4yrs old. We will be visiting wdw in april and will like to know if I should choose mk and epcot or mk and ak for our 2 days visit? Oh it is also our first wdw visit. Thanks.

    Hello Aisha!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    If I were to ask my family (husband and 7 year old daughter) your question, they would vote Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom hands down!  In fact, my daughter's favorite park happens to be Animal Kingdom.  If we don't visit Animal Kingdom first on our vacations, she gets offended. Ha!  

    Animal Kingdom has a lot to offer young guests, which is why my daughter loves it.  One of our favorite meals and the best character experience, in my opinion, is at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  If you are planning on making reservations for a character meal, I highly recommend Tusker House.  There are several shows to watch, our very favorite is The Festival of the Lion King.  The shows are so amazing, they absolutely hold the attention of a young audience.  Main attractions like the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Triceratop Spin, The Tree of Life and It's Tough To Be A Bug are perfect for the whole family.  Your 7 year old daughter, depending on how tall she is, might also enjoy Expedition Everest, Dinosaur and Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama!. We have also been able to meet several characters at Disney's Animal Kingdom without a long wait.  Disney's Animal Kingdom is a lot of fun and perfect for families of all ages.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
