My daughter and I are going to be going to WDW July 29-August 5, 2009 and are staying at Pop century. Can you tell us what the best viewing spots are for the Illumations show at Epcot? Thanks

    Brenda:

I have seen Illuminations from right outside of Norway, near Morocco, on the bridge from France to Great Britain, outside the Rose & Crown Pub, and the steps of Teppan Edo....and that's just to name a few!  All were good in my opinion!  But I must add that the show's largess and mobility on the lake makes almost any vantage point around the lake good for viewing.

I'll let you in on a little secret: I have to say the one spot I'd like to see them from, though, (that I've heard is spectacular) is at one of the window seats in Tokyo Dining.  I've only eaten lunch there, but the spectacular view of the lake from the windows that span the length of the restaurant can only be even more impressionable at night.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
