This will be my daughters (10yrs) first visit to WDW. Would like to surprise her at X-mas time. Any info through Disney in which I could make up a customized packet with her name on it, so she could open it and see that we are going to Disney? Thank you

Not so much a customized packet, Jay, but Disney does offer customized maps.  You can create them online quickly and easily and then print them yourself right at home or have them sent to you--your choice.  If it were me doing the surprising, I might plus up the maps a bit by combining them with a stuffed Mickey or favorite character Christmas ornament.  The options are endless, really.  You could browse the Disney Store online for personalized products and box them all up for one memorable gift.  Whichever route you choose, I hope your family enjoys a magical trip!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
