Hello! My daughters and I will be visiting Disneyland and California Adventure the first week of November (Nov 1 and 2); I understand that it is right after Halloween and right before the Christmas Decor goes up, but is there any particular theme that week

    Hi, Jessica!

Welcome, and thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your princesses is just around the pixie-dusted corner!

Halloween decor begins to come down immediately after the parks close on the evening of October 31. Winter holiday decorations and other seasonal extras begin appearing around the resort the first week of November, with the exception of the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay, which is complete around late September and remains through the holiday season until early January. In my experience, Christmas holiday decor is gradually added at night when the parks are closed and is complete before the middle of November when the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort festivities begin (on November 9 this year). While certain seasonal offerings such as the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular and A Christmas Fantasy Parade will not have started yet, you’ll likely begin to see Christmas holiday touches popping up in the theme parks during your visit.

I hope this helps, Jessica. Please feel free to ask any other Disneyland Resort questions you may have as you continue to plan your vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
