My daughter's podiatrist has suggested that she wears some form of footwear to prevent her from picking up veruccas. Will it be okay to wear something on her feet at the waterparks/resort pool?

    Hi Patrick!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with this question.

Yes, your daughter can wear water shoes at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and the Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools. In fact, I typically recommend that Guests visiting the water parks wear water shoes because the ground can get warm on hot days. In addition, I've found that water shoes help little ones from slipping. My three kids wear water shoes every time we visit the water parks!

Quick Tip: Here's a link to the Guide Map to Disney's Water Parks, where you'll find general information and safety tips. One rule to keep in mind is that swimwear with "rivets, buckles, exposed metal or neoprene is not permitted on body slides."

I hope this helps with your planning, Patrick. Please stop back again real soon with any other questions your may have about your upcoming visit.

    Wishing you a splashtastic time!
