It will be my daughter's one year birthday during our trip in June 22nd. Any suggestions how to celebrate it along with our 6 year old?

Hi Tamula, How exciting to be celebrating your daughter's First Birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I would recommend that you reserve a character meal to celebrate her special day. For a one-year old, I would book either CHEF MICKEY'S (with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, etc) or the CRYSTAL PALACE (with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet).

You can call Disney's Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253 to order a personalized cake if you'd like. However, you could also purchase one of the "Celebrate Today Cakes" available at both restaurants. These come in chocolate or vanilla, with no advance notice necessary. The cakes are currently $21 and are perfect for parties of 5 or less.  All you'll need to do is simply advise the host or hostess when you arrive that you would like a cake. Even if your party is larger than 5, I think one of these would be fine because it would give you all the chance to sing "Happy Birthday". Your child could make a wish and blow out their candles (or her older sibling can help her) :)

The dessert bars at both restaurants feature a variety of tasty treats, but I'll bet your 6 year old will love the "make-your-own-ice-cream-sundae" bar at Chef Mickey's the most. Cake, ice-cream and Mickey Mouse...sounds like the perfect birthday celebration to me!

Be sure to pick up a complimentary, "Happy Birthday" pin at Guest Services when you enter the Park. It makes a wonderful souvenir.

    Enjoy your vacation,
