MagicBand+ and Smart Phone

    My daughters magic band (from last year) says it’s already assigned to someone when i try to link it to our account…which its the same as last year. Mine and my husbands worked. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi Melissa, and welcome to planDisney!

    Congratulations on your pending Walt Disney World Resort arrival in the coming days! How excited you must be in the moment, knowing you are about to embark on a fun-fill adventure. 

    During our last vacation, my son was the only one with issues with his MagicBand+, it worked, but it would not appear in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Thankfully, we were able to get the issue resolved. Usually, MagicBand+ and MagicBands and cards are unique to the user it was initially assigned to, which means that once the MagicBand is assigned to the first user, it can not be reassigned to a second user. However, in your case, I recommend calling (407) 939-4357 and speaking with a MagicBand+ support cast member who may be able to assist you in your unique situation. 

    There is some good news… even without the MagicBand+, your daughter can still enter the theme parks and open the door to your resort room by adding their Disney MagicMobile Pass to a smartphone via the digital wallet. Sending loads of pixie dust your way so that it gets fixed.
