Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Melissa. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.
A visit to one of
Walt Disney World's Water Parks always makes for a splash-tastic day! My family recently enjoyed an entire day at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, and we loved jumping the waves in Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, floating lazily down Castaway Creek, and climbing aboard a family-sized raft on Miss Adventure Falls. So fun!
You ask a great question about your little ones and their swimmers. Unfortunately, the
dress code at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon states that, "swim attire with buckles, rivets, zippers or exposed metal, and other sharp objects are not allowed on any of the attractions." I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Even though the zippers are small, it is probably best to pack different swimmers for your daughters, just to be safe.
Did you know that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has an area of the park designed especially for little ones? At
Ketchakiddee Creek, your little squirts can splash and play the day away! My 6-year old especially loved the mini waterslides that were just the right size for her!
I hope this was helpful, Melissa. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
