My daughter's high school marching band is going to Disneyworld. YEA!!! But, since she's only 15, I've bought travelers checks for her to take with her. After the fact, someone asked me if you could spend them inside the park. Oh no! Can you?

How excited that your daughter's going to be marching in WDW.  My Brother-in-Law's High School went last year and they had a great time.

She can absolutely use the travelers checks in the park.  She can also use Disney gift cards and Disney Dollars, both of which can be purchased at your local Disney Store.  The advantage of the travelers check is that they may offer more protection if they get lost or stolen.  Be sure your daughter is familiar with all the details of the checks before her trip.  For example, with some you may need to sign them at home and then sign them again in front of the merchant.

Meet the Panelist: Michelle, New Jersey

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
