Well, hello, Jennifer! I’m so glad you reached out to us with your question. Planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort is a little like getting ready for the ball. Once you know what fits and what doesn’t, everything else falls into place beautifully.
Only
Annual Passholders can take advantage of
Passholder perks and benefits. As such, you will not be able to use your daughter’s parking benefits if she is not with you. However, if you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel,
parking at your resort and at the theme parks is currently included with your stay. Now, if that’s not the case, and you
do have to pay for parking,
you only have to pay once per day, even if you’re park hopping. Just keep your receipt from parking at your first park of the day. Of course, if you don’t feel like driving over to the park you’re hopping to, there is
complimentary transportation to get you there. Just be sure to leave enough time at the end of your park day to get back to the original park where your car is located. As the Fairy Godmother in
Cinderella reminds us, "Even miracles take a little time." And while free, it can take a little time to get to and from these magical destinations.
Since it appears you are a
Florida resident, it may be worth looking into whether it makes sense for
you to become an Annual Passholder like your daughter. Florida residents currently have
four different options when it comes to Annual Passes, and they exclusively have the option to
enroll in a monthly payment plan. Depending on how often you’re planning to visit the resort, it could be a great fit for you. After all, "
if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true."
Jennifer, enjoy your visit to the resort, and maybe even a year full of magic with an Annual Pass! If you have any other questions,
I’m here to help.
Have courage and be kind,
Matt
