Hello. I want to get my daughter's first haircut at the barber shop in MK. Can you give me any info about it. Do I need reservations? How much will it cost? How long should I plan to be there? Thanks again for all of your help. Love the Panel!

    Hi Stephanie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your kind words!

One of my favourite Walt Disney World Resort memories is, without a doubt, my son’s First Haircut at Harmony Barber Shop at Magic Kingdom Park. I'll never forget watching my little baby turn into a little man with each snip of the barber's scissors!

Though walk-ins are welcome, I would definitely recommend making a reservation.  I would plan 30-45 minutes for a first haircut, considering the extra pixie dust your daughter will get for her big day. You’ll find more details, including pricing and how to make reservations in the link I’ve provided above.

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. And don’t forget to take A TON of pictures during your daughter’s haircut!!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
