Going with my daughters family. We made separate hotel reservations but I bought the tickets. How do I make sure their magic bands are linked to the tickets? I don’t have a ticket number just a confirmation number

Hi, Christine!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a big group means big fun, so I'm glad to hEAR that you will be vacationing with your daughter's family this holiday season!  It would be my pleasure to chat with you today about linking everyone's theme park tickets using My Disney Experience.

Once a MagicBand is assigned to a Guest, the MagicBand will be able to access all of the information linked to that Guest's My Disney Experience profile, including their theme park admission tickets.  To view the MagicBands assigned to each Guest in your party, open your My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the three little lines in the bottom-right corner of the home screen.  From there, scroll down and click on "My Profile," then select "MagicBands & Cards."  If you then click on "Friends' MagicBands & Cards," you can view the MagicBands that are linked to the people in your Family & Friends List.  If you need to link a MagicBand to someone's profile, you can select "Link a MagicBand or Card" and link the MagicBand using the number found on the back of it.

Once everyone has a MagicBand assigned to them, you can link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account.  To do this, you'll want to once again click on those three little lines in the bottom-right corner of your My Disney Experience mobile app home screen.  Next, click on "Tickets and Passes."  From there, click on the plus sign in the top-right corner of the screen, then click "Link Tickets & Passes."  You'll need to either scan a bar code on your ticket or enter the ID code, then assign that ticket to a member of your Family & Friends List.  Once each Guest has a theme park ticket assigned to them, they will be able to use their MagicBand to scan into the theme parks.

If you run into any issues with linking your MagicBands or theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account, simply call the Help Center.  A Help Center Cast Member will be able to get everything sorted out for you faster than you can say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"
