Hiya Kellen - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm glad that you stopped by and am so excited for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You're coming at such a magical time and there is so much to experience as part of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The best part about celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort is that you're surrounded by celebratory magic everywhere you go. While I'm not aware of any formal birthday parties available for booking right now, I have a few ideas that might be even better!
First, have you considered treating the entire trip as a birthday party? It might sound silly, but the last time I celebrated my birthday at Walt Disney World, it really did feel like a non-stop three-day party! Who doesn't love a birthday party that lasts an entire vacation? To start, if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, be sure to tell a Cast Member at the Front Desk about the birthdays in your crew. They often have celebration buttons that can be worn throughout your trip and sometimes even have special balloons. The last time I wore my birthday button around Walt Disney World, I lost count of how many "Happy Birthday!" wishes I received from both Cast Members and other Guests!
You might also take a look at
Disney Floral & Gifts to sprinkle some pixie dust on your celebration trip. From balloons and flowers to fabulous gift baskets, there is something to make anyone's day more magical - they can even be delivered directly to your Disney Resort hotel!
Celebration cakes are also available at some dining locations, and Cast Members are well-versed in making any meal a memorable celebration.
If you're looking for more of an event, check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection, full of unique once-in-a-lifetime experiences that are sure to create lasting birthday memories. From
dessert parties and pony rides to special
safari treks and private tours, these experiences would make for an extra magical birthday.
I hope these ideas perked up your Mickey ears -
please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning!
