Me and my daughters, 8 & 11, will be coming to Disney in June. This is the first time for all of us. I currently have reservations at Planet Hollywood but after looking at T-Rex I am liking that one also. Just wondering any thoughts and ideas?

Hi Sarah! Congratulations on your Family's First Visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! My family has dined at both restaurants. Your choice will ultimately depend on your family's restaurant-theme preferences, as the food is equally delicious at both locations. At Planet Hollywood your family will enjoy great movie memorabilia and props from Hollywood films and TV shows, all while dining under the signature planetarium-like ceiling. The T-REX Café will have your family enjoying a prehistoric dinosaur-themed family adventure. If you decide to dine at this restaurant, be sure to request seating in the Ice Age area. You'll thoroughly enjoy the light show during the meteor shower! You can always opt to make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) at both restaurants too. Please be advised that T-REX Café does not participate in the Disney Dining Plan. Be sure to book your ADRs by calling (407) WDW-DINE or booking online here. Please let me know if I may assist you any further. Have a memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

My family fell in love with the Disney Magic aboard our first Disney cruise with Captain Mickey in 2006. I personally love to spread pixie dust, as I truly enjoy sharing my Disney experience with everyone! Learn More About Ritzy
