Tree of Life at Sunset at Disney's Animal Kingdom

    For my daughter's cheer competition, we purchased tickets for the Celebration Party at AK on 3/10/24. We'll also be visiting AK during regular park hours that day. AK closes at 6PM; party begins at 8PM. Do we have to leave the park?

    Hiya Natalie, Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, I'm thrilled to help! I'm so excited to hear you'll be at The Most Magical Place on Earth this March for the UCA Cheer Competition! And how exciting that you'll also be attending the Cheerleading Celebration Party at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!  As a cheer mom myself, I know the hard work those athletes put in and they deserve a chance to party!

    According to the Hours & Events Calendar, the Park Hours for Animal Kingdom on March 10th is 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The calendar also indicates there is a Special Ticketed Event from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM which will the Celebration Party. Since the park will be open until 8:00 PM, you will not have to leave. You can enjoy your day in the park then attend the party right after! You'll be given a party wristband which will let Cast Members you're there for the party. My daughter attended the Celebration Party last year after her competition at The Summit. Select rides and attractions will be open and there will be a DJ spinning tunes to entertain the crowd. You are bound to have a cheertastic time!
