It’s my daughter’s 13th birthday this Saturday, January 13th. All she wanted for her the day was to go to Disneyland with her best friend… I tried to buy tickets just now and tickets are sold out! What can I do? She’s crying and sad now

    Hi Alice!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so sorry that you weren't able to find park reservations for the day that you wanted to visit. I know how disappointing that can be, and it's never fun as a parent to deliver sad news to a kiddo!

I am sending your daughter a very merry un-birthday! It's always a good day to celebrate at Disneyland, so my best recommendation is to pick a new day to celebrate and make the most of it. I know delaying the fun isn't what you had planned, but I hope some of these celebration ideas can get your daughter excited about being the un-birthday girl for a day in the parks!

    • Pick up a complimentary birthday button from Guest Relations! Your daughter will get birthday wishes from Cast Members and guests all day long.
    • Wear a special outfit or grab a sparkling accessory from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! A sparkling tiara is always fun, or you can ask for a complimentary sprinkle of pixie dust for the birthday girl (and anyone else who wants some extra happy thoughts).
    • Celebrate with Disney Genie+ Service and use Lightning Lanes to get as much fun into your day as possible! Disney Genie+ Service also includes digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass images, so take lots of pictures to celebrate your beautiful girl. Teens especially love using the Disney PhotoPass Lenses that come with Genie!
Alice, I'm so sorry that you weren't able to get park reservations for the date that you wanted. But I hope that your daughter still had an amazing birthday and that you'll enjoy the Disneyland Resort together no matter what day it is!

    Keep moving forward!
