For my daughter's birthday do I need to show proof of Birthday in order for her to go in free? This will be her 1st time visiting.

    Hi there, Patricia!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You and your daughter are going to make unforgettable memories together at the Disneyland Resort. The first visit with your child is always so special, so make sure you take plenty of photos to capture your magical moments.

While many Guests can enjoy celebrating their birthday in a variety of ways, free admission is not offered on your birthday at the Disneyland Resort. All Guests age three and older will require a park ticket to enter Disneyland Park and/or Disney California Adventure Park every day of the year. If your child is under three years old, you will not need to purchase a ticket for them or provide proof of birth date.

When you arrive, make sure you grab a complimentary birthday button at City Hall of Disneyland Park. Your daughter will be sure to get some extra special greetings from fellow Guests, Cast Members, and even some Characters as she wears her button with pride. You can also add some magic to a dining reservation by ordering a custom celebration cake when you call the Disneyland Dining line at (714) 781-3463. We recently had the most decadent Churro-flavored custom cake ordered and delivered to our dinner, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

I hope this information helps, and have a magical day!
