My daughter's 11th birthday is 9 days AFTER we return from Disney cruise but we want to celebrate on the boat and on our stay at WDW the few days after our cruise. I already ordered birthday celebration pkg and cake for the boat. What is there at WDW?

Hi Nikki!  I have a feeling your daughter is going to remember turning 9 for a very long time.  A Disney Cruise followed by a Walt Disney World vacation will make it a fantastic celebration!

Walt Disney World has so many awesome ways to celebrate birthdays.  First of all, be sure to ask for her complimentary Happy Birthday pin when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort.  Have her wear it for her entire trip, and she will be delighted to receive lots of special greetings from the Cast Members. Also, when dining at a Table Service location, make sure to mention to the server that it is her birthday - many times they will acknowledge it with a special cupcake or song.  If you're wanting to have a special surprise waiting in your room upon arrival, contact Disney Floral & Gifts - they can arrange an in-room celebration or custom design a gift--basket personalized to your daughter.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for extending your daughter's birthday celebration right through your vacation.  Have fun planning, and even more fun while on your Disney Cruise and at Walt Disney World...and a big Happy Birthday wish from me to your daughter!
