My daughterʻs Bibbity Bobbity Bo Salon experience is at 8 pm since it was the only time available and our dining time is 8:15 pm. Is there another option I can do so I wonʻt go without eating?

    Aloha, Jayme!

Welcome aboard planDisney, and thanks for bringing your great question to us just before you set sail on a gorgeous 4-Night Baja Cruise on the Disney Wonder! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be such a special experience for your daughter, and we certainly don’t want anyone to miss dinner. I understand the stress of potential conflicts in your plans and am happy to help guide you through your options.

As soon as you step onboard, be sure to flip your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to Onboard Mode and connect to the ship’s WiFi network. I suggest you head straight for Guest Services, Deck 3, Midship, in the Atrium Lobby and speak with a friendly Crew Member about possible alternative times for your daughter’s appointment. Oftentimes there are additional appointments available onboard, or Guests have changed their plans leaving a pixie-dusted slot open for you!

If you are unable to secure a new time for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I suggest you keep to the 8:00 P.M. appointment and stay flexible for dining that evening. You may always bypass dinner in the main dining rooms and enjoy 24-hour room service (where most of the items are complimentary) or sample the delicious quick service offerings around the ship at an earlier dinner time. Daisy’s De-lites, Pete's Boiler Bites, and Pinocchio’s Pizzaria always have something yummy served up, and don’t forget to end the meal with delicious soft-serve ice cream! If this is your preferred plan, it’s a kind gesture to tell your Dining Team not to expect you the next evening as you enjoy casual dining.

While there is no firm policy for late arrivals to the main dining rooms, the Dining Teams typically allow Guests to be up to 30 minutes late without interruption to their service, and this is most flexible during your second dining time. If this is your preference, please be generous with grace and courtesy towards your Dining Team so that they can accommodate your family. The night prior, you may inform them of your conflict and perhaps even give them your meal order for the following night. Each night’s menu is listed in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App so you can look ahead and share what dishes you’d like to enjoy the following evening. This way your Dining Team knows to expect your late arrival but can also get your meal started for everything to be ready when you arrive. Your little princess will make quite the special entrance after her magical appointment!

I hope this gives you a few ways to approach this dilemma, Jayme and perhaps a fresh perspective that everything will have a happy ending! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation should be full of joy and special memories, so I hope understanding what to expect has reduced some pre-trip stress.

Wishing you a practically perfect cruise!
