My daughter's back from a quick 3 day trip. They had a blast! Only problem she had was a craving for a ham and cheese sandwhich on plain white bread. Couldn't find one! Anywhere to get a small plain sandwhich not on bulkie or partisan bread?Returning soon.

    Hi Denise,

I'm so pleased to hear that your daughter had a lovely trip!

A good place to find a tasty, basic sandwich would be the Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney.  The Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is also famous for its delicious, standard American fare.  I also like the sandwiches at Roaring Fork in Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Keep in mind, though, that you are always welcome to ask at Disney dining establishments if the chef could prepare you a basic sandwich, even if one doesn't appear on the menu.  The Cast Members who work at Disney's many restaurants will go out of their way to prepare you a meal that suits your tastes, even if it does not appear on the menu.  Don't be afraid to ask.  They may not always have the appropriate fixings on hand to make your ham and cheese sandwich, but if they do, they will do their best to make a sandwich to your specifications.

Best wishes to you as you plan your next Disney adventure!
