Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel! I’m glad you’re hEAR! You’ll be happy to hear about riding arrangements on many of the Walt Disney World Resort attractions!
Toys ages seven and under will need a riding buddy, so depending on the seat arrangement (two verse three seats in a row), you may be able to ride with everyone! The 1 and 5 year old will be able to ride things like
Toy Story Mania with you while your spouse rides with the 4 year old. The 10 year old can ride with the 7 year old easily! When you encounter attractions with a two seater arrangement, you’ll need to take advantage of
Rider Switch service. One adult can wait with the younger children while the 10 year old and second adult take two kids to ride. When they return, the other two (if they meet the height requirements) will be able to ride! Of course, attractions with wide bench seating like Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World or even Peter Pan’s Flight will accommodate multiple riders and you can split into two or three groups. Just prep the 10 year old on proper ride etiquette and safety so they can manage a little toy on the attraction!
If you have more questions about getting around the Resort with
preschoolers or kids, please let me know! I have two young kids of my own and like to think of myself as an expert on kid-sized stays! I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
