My daughter is 9 yrs oldand we are planning a trip to disney this summer. She is bipolar and has an anxiety disorder. what can I do to help make the waits in line shorter for her

Becky, Walt Disney World is a great vacation destination for a child with special needs. The parks are wonderful and magical and Disney works hard to see that guests with special needs are accommodated.

A Guest Assistance Card (GAC) helps visitors with all types of special needs have a great experience. To acquire a GAC stop by Guests Services in the first theme park you visit. You do not need to bring a note from your doctor but you might find this expedites the process. The GAC card assists the Cast Members at attractions in accommodating your daughter's needs and will often allow her and five members of your party to use an alternate entrance and avoid long lines.

Wishing your princess a magical visit!
