Hi there, Tracy! I'm so happy you brought your question to us here at planDisney.
It sounds like you, your daughter, and your granddaughter have a very special trip coming up!
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests is such a great benefit! I'm a big rope-dropper because I know that the earlier you get to the park, the higher likelihood you'll get much more done with less of a wait. And this benefit gives you a great head start! As a bonus tip, pairing this benefit with the purchase of
Disney Genie+ and/or
Individual Lightning Lanes for shorter wait times will maximize even more of your time in the parks!
At this time, Early Theme Park Entry is 30 minutes prior to park opening time at any of the theme parks! For example, if
Magic Kingdom Park has an opening time of 9 a.m. listed, Guests eligible for this benefit can enter the park at 8:30 a.m. That means you can make a beeline for the incredible
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction first thing. I've done this myself and been on and off the ride before the park even opened to other Guests!
Also, keep in mind that if you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, you are eligible to take advantage of
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights at select parks. The dates are listed on the
Walt Disney World Calendar. This gives you extra time after the park closes to other Guests to experience attractions with fewer crowds and, usually, less of a wait. Your young granddaughter may not be able to take advantage of this if it's past her bedtime, but maybe
you could sneak off for a bit for some alone time in the parks! Maybe a leisurely stroll around World Showcase in
EPCOT?
Tracy, have a great vacation, and feel free to
reach out again in the future if you have any other questions. We are happy to help!
Ohana means family,
Matt
