My daughter is 9 years old now but by the time we visit Disney she'll be 10. We have booked the Disney dining plan for 2017. Will she be able to order off of the adult menu?

    Hi, Brandy!

Because your Princess will be 10 years old when you travel, she should have been booked as adult since birthday with year is entered when booking guests under the age of 18. Since you booked and paid for her at an adult rate, she will be entitled to the adult menus at all restaurants.

The exception will be if you booked her as a child (guests age 3 - 9) and she turns 10 during your vacation. In this case you will have paid for and will be entitled to the child menu when available at Table Service restaurants.  Please note that with the Disney Dining Plan, child and adult entitlements are not separated out at Quick Service, so either menu can be ordered from.

If your current reservation and My Disney Experience account has her age listed incorrectly, call a friendly Cast Member at (407)W-DISNEY to update your daughter's information. If she is updated from a child to an adult, there may be a price increase to reflect that change.

Wishing you many happy and delicious meals in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
