My daughter 5 years old and is 40'in. tall. I've been reading alot about the rides and she can ride most of them but Indiana Jones is our favorite and was wondering if she has to be 46'in. or as long as shes with me she can ride?

    Hi there, Claudia!

You’re going to have so much fun making memories with your 5-year-old daughter at the Happiest Place on Earth! At 40”, she’ll be able to enjoy many attractions at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park! Check out the Attractions page, where you can filter by height and explore which attractions you and your daughter can experience together. I grew up with the Indiana Jones movies, and am now a big fan of Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland Park. Unfortunately, at 40”, your daughter is too short for this attraction, since the height requirement is 46”. Even if she’s riding with you, she needs to meet this requirement. However, if you happen to have another adult or Guest over the age of 14 with you, you can take advantage of Rider Switch, which allows each adult to enjoy the ride separately while the other one waits with the child who isn’t tall enough to ride.

Here are a few of my 5-year-old daughter’s favorite attractions at both parks: Autopia, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Golden Zephyr, “it’s a small world”, Jumpin’ Jellyfish, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, Mad Tea Party, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

I can’t wait for you to Get Your Ears On and celebrate the most iconic couple around, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, in just one week!

    Wishing you Disney magic!
