Hiya, Andre! Welcome, welcome! Here at
planDisney, our goal is to help our fellow Guests plan magical Disney vacations. I'm so glad that you're here!
Thankfully, your 19-year-old daughter is considered to be a legal adult in the United States. This means that she will absolutely be able to check into her
Disney Resorts Collection hotel by herself and without any kind of special authorization from you!
Speaking of checking in, I would highly encourage your daughter to do this from the comfort of your own home before she makes her merry way to the
Walt Disney World Resort. To do this, she will simply need to open the My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, and click on Resort Hotel. From here, she should be able to locate her reservation and see the option to check in from the app itself.
Andre, in order for your daughter to check in through the mobile app, please make sure to have a credit card on hand. That's basically the only thing she will need! After she's done with all the steps, she won't even need to stop by the Front Desk at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Once she arrives at the Walt Disney World Resort, all she needs to do is wait for the mobile app to give her a room number, and that's it! She will even be able to unlock her door through the mobile app using her smartphone. Amazing, isn't it?
If you or your daughter have any other questions regarding her upcoming Disney vacation, please don't hesitate to come back and ask us! We'd be delighted to help in English or in
Portuguese.
Have a magical day!
Ana Paula
