I have a daughter who is 15 years old and she was wondering if dressing up as Giselle from Enchanted on our trip in February would be considered breaking the rules of "adults dressing in costumes", since Giselle is kind of an uncommon princess?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristen!

I love that your daughter is so excited to show her Disney Side by dressing as one of her favorite princesses! As you know, based on the attire recommendations, adults cannot wear costumes that are representative of a Disney character. Since Giselle is a character from a Disney movie, your daughter cannot dress in a full costume, unless it is during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. But don't be discouraged because there are still many ways your daughter can have fun and show off her favorite princess during your trip. Your daughter could get creative with her outfit and Disney Bound as Giselle. Your daughter would simply wear normal clothing that is both fashionable and gives a nod to Giselle. For example, she could wear a beautiful blue floral cardigan and button it at the top, to match the cut of Giselle's dress, and pair it with a flowing pink floral dress or skirt. Check out this video from my fellow panelist Jackie with some additional tips on how to Disney Bound during your trip. Since the attire recommendations say that adults can do their hair and makeup to match characters, your daughter will be able to complete her outfit for an Enchanted day in the parks!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
