Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Valerie!
I’m Shantel and I will be more than happy to help answer your question! As a mom to a picky eater myself, I completely understand your concern. I have found that restaurants at Disney are very understanding of your table's needs. So my recommendation is to book that reservation at
Topolino’s Terrace!
Once you arrive, you’ll be able to express your concerns with the Cast Member and come to a solution. From my experience in the past, we’ve been able to order a larger portion of the kid’s meal at the adult price. Specifically, it was with chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese, both are popular dishes in our household. This was at a different
Disney dining location, but with communication, Cast Members are more than willing to help with picky eaters.
I also recommend taking a look at the
menu before you arrive and maybe see if your daughter is willing to try something new. I know the menu can seem a little intimidating but don’t worry there are some hidden familiar gems. One of those is the Sour Cream Waffle. Your daughter is probably envisioning a waffle with a tub of sour cream, but I promise it’s just a well-flavored waffle. I wish I could share the picture of my waffle with her! Plus, you can ask the Cast Member to hold the toppings or request them on the side.
The overall experience at Topolino’s is something you won’t want to miss. Topolino’s Terrace is actually on my family’s must-do every trip list. On our
EPCOT park day we start with an early breakfast there, then take the
Skyliner over to EPCOT. It’s an adventure from start to finish. Plus, Mickey and his pals are just so adorable in their themed outfits!
Valerie, I hope this helps ease your mind and allows you to book that dining reservation. Have a great visit and if there’s anything else you need, I’m always here to help!
