My daughter will be under 2 years old (22months) when we go to Disney. Does she count as a head when I'm making and reserving dining?

Hi Amanda, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  This is a great question!

Yes, when making your dining reservations, you will want to include every body that will physically be in the restaurant.  Because Florida state laws only let a certain number of people in each restaurant at a time, it is best to include everyone in your party so the restaurant will have an accurate number.  However, because she is under the age of 3, you wont have to pay for a meal for her at any of these places.  Kids under the age of 3 can enjoy as many individual plates as they would like at all-you-care-to-enjoy style restaurants.  At places where you order a select entree off of a menu, children under the age of 3 are welcome to plate share free of charge.  I loved this when my daughter was small.  It saved a lot of money on food, especially because she didn't eat very much.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please do come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
