My daughter is 6 years old and dairy free...what are good snack foods in MK?? Will there be things for her to eat? She has a special dinning at restaurants but thinking out and about if it will be easy? Thank you

Hello Nicola!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Traveling to Walt Disney World with a food allergy might seem tricky at first, but after a bit of research and planning I think it will be pretty easy for you.

Soft pretzels at all of the theme parks are yummy, filling and best of all dairy free.  My daughter is 7 and absolutely loves soft pretzels and I bet your daughter will too.  All of the popcorn, at Walt Disney World, is vegan which would make for an excellent snack for your daughter as well.  If your daughter likes nuts, you can look for the carts that sell the roasted cashews and glazed almonds.  Those are also completely dairy free.  Before purchasing, I would always double check with the Cast Member to make sure recipes have not changed.  In doing some research, I came across an incredible resource that might help you out tremendously.  After you leave here, visit www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com.  Click on the Resources Tab and look for the Reference Sheets.  There you can find downloadable PDF files of food that is dairy free broken down by resort and parks.

I hoped this helps!  Have a magical day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
