My daughter will be 10 this year, can she order off the kids menu at Whispering Canyon or does she have to get the skillet? Can the kids share our skillets? We will be doing Hoop Dee Doo also, will it be too much of the same food if we eat at both places?

    Hi Jennifer,

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a family favorite!  Your daughter can order from the kid's menu if she doesn't find anything she likes on the adult menu.  There are more options at Whispering Canyon than just the Canyon Skillet.  The child's menu offers Mac & Cheese or a Hamburger as an alternative.  Simply tell your server that your child would prefer one of those options.

The menu at Hoop de Doo is fried chicken and pork ribs.  I think it's different enough that you won't feel like you've eaten the same meal twice.  If you're concerned about it, try something other than the Canyon Skillet at Whispering Canyon.  The pasta dish is wonderful.  They also offer pot roast, steak, meatloaf, trout and other entrees.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
