My daughter (12 year old) and I are going to Disney for 3 days on Fall break. We are doing the Halloween party at Magic Kingdom the first night. But the remaining 2 days we have park hoppers. Is there anything at Epcot that we NEED TO DO?

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! Keep your eyes peeled for people in Disney Parks Moms Panel shirts as a bunch of us will be there then too.

I absolutely love Epcot. It started as an educational-entertainment theme park, and while there's a bit of edu-tainment still hanging around, Epcot has really grown to become a wonderland for DisNerds of all kinds. You can find character meet & greets and attractions themed around your Disney favorites, but you'll also discover our whole wide world in many compact forms.

The World Showcase is one of my favorite Disney places. Here, 11 different pavilions represent host nations through art, architecture, merchandise, food, attractions and even entertainment. And your visit times up perfectly with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, where you'll have the opportunity to sample dishes and drinks from around the world. But some of the best attractions that really open our eyes to how big our world really is, while also being really fun, are Soarin' Around The World, Spaceship Earth and Living With The Land.

I think Epcot is worth at least a stop, especially since you have Park Hopper tickets. Epcot is really close to Disney's Hollywood Studios (you can walk or boat between the two!), or you can get there from any park or hotel by Disney Bus.

We'll See You Real Soon, Heather!
