My daughter and I wish to visit Disneyland, Anaheim on Monday May 8th but tickets are not available online. Can we got to ticket counter on the day of and still buy tickets?

    Hello, Mary!

Welcome to planDisney! I know purchasing tickets and making park reservations can be a little tricky. I am happy to provide some more details to help you get it done so you can look forward to your visit!

I just checked the Them Park Reservation Availability Calendar and it looks like tickets are available for May 8th. Whew! But that date is very soon, and availability could change, so I recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as you can. Tickets can be purchased at the parks if they are still available, but it's much safer to buy them online in advance. Follow these steps and you'll be heading for magic in no time!

    1. Go to the Theme Park Tickets and Reservation Page
    2. Click the "Select Ticket" button
    3. Choose your ticket type (for a single-day visit you want a "Standard Theme Park Ticket")
    4. Select the number of days you want to visit
    5. Select the number of adult tickets and child tickets you need
    6. Choose your ticket type, either one park per day or Park Hopper to visit both parks in one day
    7. Click "Continue"
    8. The next page has a calendar where you will choose which day you are visiting, just tap on your day and keep scrolling down
    9. Pick which park you want to visit (note that if you're purchasing Park Hopper tickets you'll choose which park you want to start your morning in before hopping to the second park)
    10. Scroll down and click "Continue"
    11. Choose any add-on options you would like, such as parking or Disney Genie+ Service
    12. Scroll down and click "Continue"
    13. The next screen will show the tickets in your cart, so if everything looks good click "Next"
    14. If you haven't already signed into your Disney account then you'll be prompted to do that (or create an account if you don't have one) to complete your purchase
    15. During checkout you will assign the tickets to each member of your party, provide your contact information, and enter your payment method
Once you finish your purchase you should get an email confirmation and also see the tickets and plans in your Disney account! Make sure you also download the Disneyland Mobile App which will help you access your tickets, see your plans, and navigate the parks.

Thanks for letting me be part of your planning, Mary! I hope you'll visit our site again if you have more questions. I'm sending lots of pixie dust for you to have an amazing day in the parks!

    Keep moving forward!
