Bella from WV Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My daughter was a wish child last yr., there was a lounge at mk, for M-A-W children; can she still use it when we come again? Will we need a letter from her doctors, to get to use the fast lane again? Planning on getting a G.A.C. card.

Hi Bella!  I’m thrilled that the Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to help your daughter spend a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!  I’m even more excited that you will be visiting again this year!!  You are definitely on the right track in making sure you pick up a Guest Assistance Card.  It will allow you to access the attractions in the easiest way possible for your daughter.  It always helps expedite receiving a GAC card if you bring a doctor’s note with you.  Sometimes a disability is not always visual, and it assists the Cast Members in determining with GAC is appropriated for your party.  As for the Wish Lounge in Magic Kingdom, according to Guest Services, that is solely for the use of children on their Make-A-Wish trips.  I would speak with someone at Magic Kingdom Guest Relations on the day you attend MK, and see if they will allow her to use the lounge. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
