Hi Dana, welcome to planDisney!
Disney moms are the magic. We model flexibility like Elastigirl, grow in understanding like Lady Elinor, and juggle 99 responsibilities daily like Perdita. Not every day is magical, but there's magic in every day, especially Disney days. I'm so glad you and your daughter get to strengthen your bond at Walt Disney World Resort in October.
I understand your daughter is getting a double dip of Walt Disney World Resort magic this year. Valid admission, a
theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. All of these vacation entitlements are housed in a My Disney Experience account. Children under the age of 13 must have their My Disney Experience account profiles managed by an adult.
It sounds like your daughter's MagicBand is currently linked to a My Disney Experience account profile managed by your husband. There's also a good chance you've already created a My Disney Experience account profile for her on your account. MagicBands are nontransferable, but what you really want to do is merge her two My Disney Experience account profiles together. This task requires a special kind of pixie dust only Cast Members possess, so my best tip is to call the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ number, (407) 939-4357. You will need to provide the email address associated with Dad's My Disney Experience account as well as your own. Once the profiles are merged, the MagicBand housed in Dad's account will automagically transfer to the profile on your account. The additional good news is that merging the two account profiles will allow both of you to seamlessly plan vacations with your daughter. If you haven't created a My Disney Experience profile for your daughter on your account yet, a Cast Member can help add the account profile housed under Dad's account to your
Family and Friends list, MagicBand included.
Thank you for raising your daughter in the magic, Dana. It's so important for young people to understand the power of imagination and dreams. I hope you and your daughter have a memorable time together; be sure and take lots of pictures. One of my favorite picture spots is by
Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park.
Plan magic; planDisney.
