My daughter is going to WDW with her high school marching band, I would like a secure way to give her money to buy meals and snacks. I think maybe an e gift card would work well because it sounds like they are loaded on her phone, right?

    Hi Shelia!

What a fun trip for your daughter! I'm sure she's super excited to be heading to Walt Disney World Resort with her high school marching band. It will be an experience she'll always remember!

As thrilled as she is, I'm sure you're a bit nervous to have her head off "on her own." I think a Disney Gift Card eGift would be a wonderful way to send her with some extra spending money, yet have it be safe and secure. You are correct, the eGift is sent to her email and she will be able to purchase items with it anywhere that accepts Disney Gift Cards by scanning her phone directly. I'd also recommend sending her with a printed copy of the eGift as a backup just in case. You'll find more information regarding the Disney Gift Card eGift on this Disney Parks Blog post.

If there is anything else we are able to assist you with in helping plan her magical adventure, please let us know.
