My daughter will be going to WDW with a group, what happens if she looses her multiday park hopper ticket? can it be replaced after it has be activated or will she need to buy a new ticket?

I recommend to all families traveling to Walt Disney World that they copy the back of their tickets. I always photocopy our tickets and take one copy in our luggage and another copy is kept at home where a friend or family member can fax it to us if necessary.

    1. If your daughter's ticket will be purchased prior to her trip, simply photocopy the back of the ticket and keep it at home for safekeeping.

    2. If your daughter purchases her ticket in WDW, ask that she visit the Front Desk to have them make a copy of the ticket for her. Her receipt will also have the necessary information. High tech kids would benefit from taking a picture of the card!

    3. If the ticket will be purchased as part of a WDW room package, then the ticket will be coded on her Key to the World card which also serves as her room key. If she loses this card, she will need to contact the Front Desk of her hotel immediately. WDW will then replace the card. However I would ask for a print out of your account that day and then keep close track of expenses charged to the room.

Bear in mind that WDW states that it is not responsible for lost tickets. However Cast Members are very good about helping to replace a ticket if the necessary information is presented. A receipt for tickets purchased from other locations such as AAA or even the Disney Store will not contain the needed information so it is imperative to photocopy the side of the ticket that contains the magnetic strip.
