Hi there Erin!
How exciting that you're planning your daughter's First Visit to Walt Disney World!
I took my own little princess for her first visit at just shy of two years old also. It's such a magical age to enjoy the wonder of the characters, shows and attractions! We have such great memories of that particular trip to this very day - even though she's now almost 15 and has visited more than a dozen times since then!
In order to enjoy Walt Disney World at its least crowded time, I'd most highly recommend a visit in early September. Since most family's kids will have just gone back to school, this tends to be a very low time of year in terms of crowds. We enjoyed many September visits with our family when the kids were younger and my own childhood visits were almost always in September too!
MagicBands are a wonderful new technology at Walt Disney World. If you decide to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package staying at one of the amazing Disney Resort Hotels, MagicBands will be a part of your stay! I've included a link for you where you can watch a video and read more about the amazing things that MagicBands do to make your family's visit extra special! In a nutshell, they are your room key, your park ticket, your Dining Plan, your charging privileges and so much more!
In order to begin planning your visit, you'll want to familiarize yourself with the
My Disney Experience online and mobile tools. Visit the link to learn all about what magic awaits you in 2014 at Walt DisneyWorld using the My Magic Plus technology.
I hope you'll come back to visit the Moms Panel frequently throughout your planning Erin.
Wishing you a simply Magical time as you begin planning your daughter's first visit to Walt Disney World!
