My daughter wants to visit Epcot on 29 Jan for her 21st birthday. There will be up to 10 of us but each booking their own tickets. With the new system is it possible some will be refused once you reach a maximum number on that day? Any discount for groups?

Hello Paul! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Wow! Your daughter is going to have an amazing birthday. I cannot think of a better way to help her celebrate her special day than a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there last summer and it was an experience I will never forget.

Your magical celebration is just a few days away. I have checked the Theme Park Pass availability calendar, and all parks, including EPCOT, are showing they have availability right now. There is no way to know how many park pass reservations are remaining before the EPCOT reaches capacity. I highly recommend that everyone in your group purchase their tickets as soon as possible, link them to their My Disney Experience accounts, and make their Theme Park Pass reservations for EPCOT as soon as possible. Anyone without a reservation will not be admitted in the park, even if they have a ticket. This birthday celebration is too important for any one of your family and friends to miss.

If you are looking for your daughter to have an extra magical experience with your large group, the Cast Members on the Disney Group Getaways team can help you put something together. However, to be eligible for their discounts on tickets, your group needs to book a minimum of 10 rooms, for one night or more at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If your group meets this requirement, feel free to reach out to them. Otherwise, everyone will need to purchase their tickets individually as you have previously planned.

Wishing your daughter a magical birthday!
