    Hello, my daughter wants to have a surprise birthday party for a dance team member when we perform in Downtown Disney, she is turning 15, and I was wondering if we could get a character to surprise her

    Hi Loel, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by with your great question. Your daughter sounds like a doll for wanting to plan a special birthday surprise for her dance team friend. So sweet! 

    There isn't really a way to arrange a private appearance from a Disney friend, as they are on pretty tight schedules, but I recommend planning a team meal at one of the Resort's Character Dining Experiences so your daughter and team can still get a truly Disney experience. This way your daughter's team mate can still have some one-on-one Disney character time as they visit the tables and the whole team can create some great pictures and make special memories together.
