Hi- My daughter wants to pre-register for her DAS reservations 30 days prior to our trip in May. What hours are they available to do a video chat? Are they available on weekends?

    Greetings, Nancy!

Welcome back to planDisney. I hope that you and your daughter are getting excited about your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Walt Disney World Resort is currently in the middle of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Dazzling EARidescent decor and 50th Anniversary Sips & Bites add new levels of memorable magic to your favorite theme park. Let's go over Disability Access Service pre-registration so you can start enjoying this epic celebration as soon as you arrive.

Currently, pre-registration hours are listed as 7:00 AM to 10 PM Eastern Time and are available daily. If your daughter is under the age of 18, she will need a parent or guardian present during the call. During this video chat, she will also be able to choose 2 one-hour return time windows for select experiences. Picking the must-do attractions for each park before the call is a time-saving tip. Be sure that your entire travel party is linked in My Disney Experience so that these plans can be made for the whole group. I recommend requesting the live video chat early in the day, as some Guests have experienced longer than expected wait times. Once the video chat is completed, the service will be all set up in My Disney Experience, and your daughter will be able to use it throughout her visit.

Nancy, I also suggest utilizing Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering during your stay. This time-saving tool can be found in the My Disney Experience app. Select the "Order Food" option to begin. You can choose a participating dining location, pick the time you would like to eat, place your order, and go on with your day. When your arrival window arrives, head to the restaurant and click "I'm here". Your food will be prepared and a push notification will be sent to your phone when it is ready. This is another great way to avoid traditional standby queues.

I hope that this information helps you check another item off of your planning to-do list. And please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions about your upcoming magical adventure!

    We'll see ya real soon!
