My daughter wants to go to Disney World Florida for her Sweet 16 with 2 of her friends. I've been do disney many times but never for a celebration how could I celebrate her birthday in a magical way? It would be August 2013

Wow, Kristi! A Sweet 16 with friends at Walt Disney World will be so magical!

Begin your journey with a Celebration Recognition Button, available at Guest Services at any park; she'll hear "happy birthday!" all day long!

Next, consider where you'll stay. Even at 16, she and her friends will still squeal in delight when they first walk into a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. Fiber-optic fireworks in the headboards and magical surprises everywhere are a spectacular way to start a celebration. You could also try Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, with a Spa treat for the ladies. You'll all feel like princesses after a day at the spa!

Then, let your daughter choose her birthday meal. Something fun, such as Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or something more elegant, such as Teppan Edo, in Epcot's Japan Pavilion? You can arrange to have a specialty, customizable cake delivered right to your table. Call (407) 827-2253, at least 48 hours in advance, to learn how to order your cake; options fit most any taste, style and budget.

Because it's Sweet 16, check out the special Sweet 16 gifts which you can order from Disney Floral & Gifts. For an even more dramatic effect, there are fantastic In-Room Celebrations, too.

There are so many ways to celebrate at Walt Disney World! When you've looked through some of these links, please send more questions. I'd love to help you make your princess' Sweet 16 the most magical day she could hope for!
