My daughter wants to go to Disney for her 18th birthday which falls during April vacation 2013. When will the calendar of events for April be up and are there usually any special dining plans or anything during that time?

    Hi Dee!

Walt Disney World is the best place ever to celebrate an 18th birthday!  And to be there during spring?  Well, that's pure magic!

You will be able to access the calendar of events for all the Disney theme parks on www.disneyworld.com approximately 6-7 months in advance of your April 2013 vacation.  I imagine that the full array of Disney Dining Plans will be available to guests at the time of your visit.  If you have any questions about which one would best suit the needs of your family, feel free to post a follow-up question to the Moms Panel.  We just love questions about dining at Walt Disney World and I'm a huge advocate of the Disney Dining Plan.

Be sure to plan time to enjoy the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival during your vacation.  Epcot is never more beautiful than during this extraordinary event!

Please wish your daugher a very happy birthday in April from the entire Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
