    my daughter wanted to run the princess dash but I didn't get her sign up before her age group was full. she is considering running the mile..do they need to keep a 16 min/mile pace? she is 5 and heartbroken that I didn't sign her u in time......

    Hi, Rochelle! 

    I wanted to let you know there is still availability for your princess to participate in the 200 Meter Dash, the race designed for children 4-6 years old. Though Saturday's Kids' Races have reached capacity, Friday's events still have availability for the 200 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Dash, and the One-Mile Run.

    If the one-mile run is the race you wish for her to participate in, please plan on running with her. The one mile distance may be a bit far to send her out on alone. I have no doubt she'll be able to complete this distance, there is just a very real possibility she could get scared as they run through sections of the Epcot® theme park. I would consider placing her in the 200 Meter Dash with her peers.

    I would also try to get her registered as soon as possible, though Friday still has open slots for everything but the Diaper Dash, they are 98% full! I hope this information helps, Rochelle. Please let me know if you have any further questions and good luck to your little princess!
