Hi Kevin! From this elementary school principal to your teacher-daughter, I wish to send a big “thank you” as well as “congratulations” upon completion of her first-year teaching! I am sure there is a great career ahead! I can't think of a better place to visit on a birthday than
Magic Kingdom Park!
Whether it’s a birthday or an end-of-first-year teaching getaway, the Walt Disney World Resort is a great place to celebrate! Upon arrival at either your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or a Disney Park, request a complimentary “Happy Birthday” button and a complimentary “I’m Celebrating…” button! The front desk at the hotel will have these buttons available. In the Disney Parks, you can find the complimentary buttons available at
Guest Relations. Your daughter should wear her buttons during her whole visit (not just on her birthday)! You never know when a Cast Member will notice the buttons and try to do something a little extra special!
Kevin, if you happen to make any advanced Disney Dining reservations, you’ll want to note that you are celebrating your daughter’s birthday. I also recommend informing the front desk at the restaurant, as well as the Cast Member serving your table, that you are celebrating your daughter’s birthday! My family has always found the Cast Members will try to add a little extra magic for someone celebrating a special occasion!
Happy Planning!
Jonathan
