My daughter and I will be visitng WDW in late Sept. for a school choir trip. We are not staying on property this time. My daughter and I have Magic Bands from a trip in Aug. 2018. We would like to use them. How do we do this?

    Hi Robin,

How fun that you'll get to visit the most magical place on earth twice in such a short amount of time! I'm so excited for you!

I'm happy to let you know that your MagicBands may absolutely be reused! Their batteries last for around two years, so you should have no trouble using them again. You won't need to do anything other than make sure your new tickets and FastPass+ selections are all connected to your My Disney Experience account, snap those cute bands onto your wrists, and enjoy another magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Since you're staying off site this time, you won't be able to use your MagicBands for charging privileges or access to your hotel room, but they will still work for your theme park tickets, FastPass+ selections, and PhotoPass photos

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning for either of your trips. I hope that you have two truly magical vacations, Robin!
