    Hello, my daughter and I will be visiting WDW in 2 weeks. I have made reservations at a couple of Character Dining and was wanting to know if characters will be at dining until all reservations are there? My reservations were made 20 min. before closing.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You will be arriving at the most magical place on earth in just a few days! I am sure your daughter must be very excited about your upcoming mother and daughter trip.

    Character dining experiences are the best way to have quality time with beloved Disney friends while enjoying a delicious meal. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences interacting with characters at character dining locations. Do not worry about the time of your reservation and character interaction. A couple of times my family and I had late reservations and ended up being some of the last Guests to leave the restaurant, but we still had plenty of time with characters. It was actually even better because the restaurants were almost empty so they ended up hanging around at our table a little longer! While I cannot guarantee this will be the case for you and your daughter, you can still count on them being there for your reservation time. Disney would not allow for you to make a reservation and have characters leave right after your arrival. Please note that characters are subject to change without notice.

    One last tip: don’t miss the new nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park! Happily Ever After has just made its debut, and it is absolutely jaw dropping! You and your daughter are going to love it, and it really is the best way to end a fun-filled day at the Walt Disney World Resort. The fireworks and projections are just incredible, all topped with amazing music.
