Hi all! My daughter and I are visiting WDW in the end of Feb. I made reservations for dinner for a few nights, but do all restaurants need reservations, or do they accept walk ins? I'm not sure which park we'll be in and some days I just want to wing it.

    Hi Laurie!

My husband is a "wing it" kind of guy, so I understand where you are coming from.  While reservations are not required, they are always STRONGLY recommended.  Sometimes you can get in as a walk-in, but the wait might be super long.  Sometimes the restaurant will flat out tell you there is no availability for the day.  It never hurts to walk up and ask.  If you know which park you will be visiting at least the day before or even that morning, you can always call the dining reservations line and see if anything is available for lunch or dinner that day.  Since I am local, I usually take last minute trips to Disney World.  I have been very lucky getting same day reservations in the past.  You have to be flexible and have a second or third choice in case your first choice is unavailable.

    Have a magical day!
