Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly!
We’re so happy to hear from you, and I hope you’re getting excited to visit
Magic Kingdom with your daughter in a few weeks! The Most Magical Place on Earth is obviously very magical — but sharing it with someone you love is the pixie dust on top of an already marvelous visit! I hope you savor every moment with your daughter.
The Kiss Goodnight is such a unique experience that happens at Magic Kingdom about 30 minutes after the park officially closes for the night. I love this experience because I feel like no other theme park does anything like it — it’s a magical detail that I think goes above and beyond. Though there is no official schedule for the Kiss Goodnight, it happens most nights at Magic Kingdom. I recommend staying close to Cinderella Castle so you don’t miss the magic! At some point (about 30 minutes after the park closes), the castle will twinkle and music will begin!
The Kiss Goodnight is still happening (I double checked with a Cast Member) but I cannot guarantee that it will happen exactly when you and your daughter are visiting. I highly suggest that you ask a Cast Member at
Guest Services if the Kiss Goodnight will happen the night you are visiting just in case!
While you’re at Magic Kingdom, consider splitting an order of Cheeseburger Spring Rolls (outside of Adventureland) with your daughter! This makes a great snack to share.
If you have additional questions, feel free to visit us again at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
